Donotattempttodisassemblethedeckfrom

1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallofthemoving
partstostop,removethekey,andengage
parkingbrake.
2.Removetheheight-adjustmentpinandlower
thedecktotheground.
3.Placetheheight-adjustmentpininthe7.6cm(3
inch)height-of-cutlocation.
Note:Thislocksthedeck-liftarmsinthelowest
positionsothatwhenyouremovethedeck,the
storedenergyinthedeckspringisreleased.
4.Removethebeltcovers.
5.Lifttheoorpanandinsertaratchetintothe
squareholeinthedeckidler(Figure104).
6.Rotatethedeckidlerclockwiseandremovethe
mowerbelt(Figure104).
