5.Withtheparkingbrakeset,shifttheblade
control(PTO)knobintotheDisengageposition
andputthetractioncontrolpedalintheNeutral
position.Starttheengine,shifttheblade
control(PTO)knobintotheEngageposition,
andturntheKeyChoicekeyandreleaseit:
Theoperating-in-reversewarninglightshould
illuminate.
6.Shiftthebladecontrol(PTO)knobtothe
Disengageposition:Theoperating-in-reverse
warninglightshouldturnoff.
PushingtheMachine
Manually
Important:Alwayspushthemachinemanually.
Nevertowthemachinebecauseitmaydamage
thetransaxle.
ToPushtheMachine
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblades(PTO).
3.Settheparkingbrake.
4.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
5.Removetheignitionkey.
6.Removethegrasscollector;refertoRemoving
theGrassCollector(page31).
7.Pushthedrivecontrol(locatedattherearofthe
machine),intothePushposition.
8.Releasetheparkingbrake.
Note:Thisdisengagesthedrivesystemandallows
thewheelstoturnfreely(Figure13).
