ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblades(PTO).
3.Settheparkingbrake.
4.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
5.Removetheignitionkey.
6.PullthedrivecontrolouttothePushposition
(Figure13).
7.Iftherearwheelslockandskidwhenyoupush
themachineforward,youdonotneedtoadjust
thebrake.Ifthewheelsturnanddonotlock,
adjustthebrake;refertoAdjustingtheBrake
(page31).
AdjustingtheBrake
1.Checkthebrakebeforeyouadjustit;referto
CheckingtheBrake(page31).
2.EnsurethatthedrivecontrolisintheOperate
position(Figure13)andthattheparkingbrake
ison.
3.Turnthebrakeadjustingnutclockwiseuntilyou
cannotpushthemachine(Figure38).
4.Releasetheparkingbrakeandensurethatthe
rearwheelsrotatefreelywhenyoupushthe
machine.Iftheydonot,turnthebrakeadjusting
nutcounterclockwisejustenoughsothatyou
canpushthemachine.
5.Checkthebrakeoperationagain;referto
