stayalertforhumpsandhollowsandother
hiddenhazards;
nevermowacrossthefaceoftheslope,unless
thelawnmowerisdesignedforthispurpose.
Donotoperatethemowerontheedgesofcliffs,
steepslopes,ditches,orembankments.
Usecarewhenmowingonwetgrass.
Usecarewhenpullingloadsorusingheavy
equipment.
Useonlyapproveddrawbarhitchpoints.
Limitloadstothoseyoucansafelycontrol.
Donotturnsharply.Usecarewhenreversing.
Usecounterweight(s)orwheelweightswhen
suggestedintheinstructionhandbook.
Lightningcancausesevereinjuryordeath.Ifyou
seelightningorhearthunderinthearea,donot
operatethemachine;seekshelter.
Watchoutfortrafcwhencrossingornear

Stopthebladesrotatingbeforecrossingsurfaces
otherthangrass.
Whenusinganyattachments,neverdirect
dischargeofmaterialtowardbystandersnorallow
anyonenearthemachinewhileinoperation.
Neveroperatethemachinewithdamagedguards
orwithoutsafetyprotectivedevicesinplace.
Donotchangetheenginegovernorsettingsor
overspeedtheengine.Operatingtheengine
atexcessivespeedcanincreasethehazardof
personalinjury.
Beforeleavingtheoperator’sposition:
disengagethepowertake-offandlowerthe
attachments;
changeintoneutralandsettheparkingbrake;
stoptheengineandremovethekey.
Disengagedrivetoattachments,stoptheengine,
anddisconnectthesparkplugwire(s)orremove
theignitionkey
beforeclearingblockagesoruncloggingchute;
beforechecking,cleaningorworkingonthe
lawnmower;
afterstrikingaforeignobject.Inspectthelawn
mowerfordamageandmakerepairsbefore
restartingandoperatingtheequipment;
ifthemachinestartstovibrateabnormally
(checkimmediately).
Disengagedrivetoattachmentswhentransporting
ornotinuse.
Stoptheengineanddisengagedrivetoattachment
beforerefuelling;
beforeremovingthegrasscatcher;
beforemakingheightadjustmentunless
adjustmentcanbemadefromtheoperators
position.
MaintenanceandStorage
Keepallnuts,bolts,andscrewstighttobesure
thattheequipmentisinsafeworkingcondition.
Donotusepressure-cleaningequipmentonthe
machine.
Neverstoretheequipmentwithfuelinthetank
andinsideabuildingwherefumescanreachan
openameorspark.
Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringinany
enclosure.
Toreducetherehazard,keeptheengine,
silencer,batterycompartmentandfuelstorage
areafreeofgrass,leaves,orexcessivegrease.
Checkgrasscatchercomponentsandthe
dischargeguardfrequentlyandreplacewith
manufacturer'srecommendedparts,when
necessary.
Replacewornordamagedpartsforsafety.
Replacefaultysilencers.
Ifthefueltankhastobedrained,dothisoutdoors.
Becarefulwhileadjustingthemachinetoprevent
entrapmentofthengersbetweenmovingblades
andxedpartsofthemachine.
Toensurethebestperformanceandsafety,
purchaseonlygenuineTororeplacementparts
andaccessories.Donotusewilltpartsand
accessories;theymaycauseasafetyhazard.

Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachine
intoatraileroratruck.
Usefull-widthrampsforloadingthemachineinto
atraileroratruck.
Tiethemachinedownsecurelyusingstraps,
