(3/8inch)deectionwhenaforceof4.4kg(10
lb)isappliedonthebeltmidwaybetweenthe
pulleys.
2.Ifthedeectionisnot10mm(3/8inch),
loosenthealternatormountingbolts(Figure
86).Increaseordecreasethetensionofthe
alternatorbeltandtightenthebolts.Checkthe
deectionofthebeltagaintoensurethatthe
tensioniscorrect.
