ballvalve,valvestemassembly,stemcapture,andend
ttings.
AssemblingtheManifoldValve
1.ChecktheconditionoftheoutletttingO-rings
(sectionvalvemanifoldonly),endcapO-rings,back
seatingO-rings,ballseatfordamageorwear(Figure93
andFigure94).
Note:ReplaceanydamagedorwornO-ringsorseats.
2.Applygreasetothevalvestemandinsertitintothe
valvestemseat(Figure93andFigure94).
3.Installthevalvestemandseatintothemanifoldand
securethestemandseatwiththestemretainer(Figure
93andFigure94).
4.EnsurethatthebackseatingO-ringandtheballseat
arealignedandseatedintotheendcaptting(Figure
93andFigure94)
5.Installtheendcapttingassemblyontothemanifold
bodyuntiltheangeoftheendcapttingtouchesthe
manifoldbody(Figure93andFigure94),thenturnthe
endcapttinganadditional1/8to1/4turn.
Note:Usecautionsoasnottodamagetheendof
thetting.
6.Inserttheballintothevalvebody(Figure95).
Note:Thevalvestemshouldtinsidetheballdrive
slot.Ifthevalvestemdoesnott,adjusttheposition
oftheball(Figure95).
