1.MakesurethatkeyswitchisintheOFFposition.
2.Disconnectthenozzlemotorconnectorfromthewireharness.
3.Connecta12VDCpowersource(machinebattery)tothenozzlemotor
terminals.Themotorshaftshouldrotateclockwise(viewedfromtheshaft
end)smoothlyandquietlywhenthepositive(+)leadofthepowersupply
isconnectedtothe(C)terminalofthemotorconnector,andthenegative
(-)leadofthepowersupplyisconnectedtothe(B)terminalofthemotor
connector.Themotorshaftshouldrotatesmoothlyandquietlyintheopposite
directionwhenthepowersupplywiresarereversed.
4.Loosenthenozzlemotorbracketandremovethedrivebeltfromthemotor
pulley.
5.Connectanammeterormultimeter(DCamps)intothepositive(+)leadof
thepowersupply.Themotorshoulddrawlessthan2ampsundernoload.
6.Replacethemotorassemblyifnecessary;refertoNozzleMotor(page5–32).
7.Ifthenozzlemotortestscorrectlyandacircuitproblemstillexists,checkthe
wireharness;refertoAppendixA(pageA–1).
8.Installthenozzlemotorassemblyanddrivebeltifnecessaryandconnect
thewireharnessaftertesting.
