2.Turntheignitionkeytooff,andremovethekey.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe

4.Cleanaroundtheoildipstick(Figure47)sothatdirt
cannotfallintothellerholeanddamagetheengine.

1.Starttheengineandletitrunveminutes.This
warmstheoilsoitdrainsbetter.
2.Parkthemachinesothatthedrainsideisslightly
lowerthantheoppositesidetoensuretheoildrains
completely.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Placeapanbelowthedrainplug(Figure48).
5.Removetheoildrainplugallowingtheoiltodrain
intothepan.
6.Whenoilhasdrainedcompletely,installthedrain
plug.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatarecyclingcenter.
