temperaturesprovidesalowerashpointandcold
owcharacteristics,whicheasesstartingandreduces
pluggingofthefuellter.
Usingsummer-gradefuelabove-7°C(20°F)
contributestowardlongerfuelpumplifeandincreased
powercomparedtowinter-gradefuel.
Biodiesel
Thismachinecanalsouseabiodieselblendedfuel
ofuptoB20(20%biodiesel,80%petrodiesel).The
petrodieselportionshouldbeloworultralowsulfur.
Observethefollowingprecautions:
•Thebiodieselportionofthefuelmustmeet
specicationASTMD6751orEN14214.
•TheblendedfuelcompositionshouldmeetASTM
D975orEN590.
•Biodieselblendsmaydamagepaintedsurfaces.
•UseB5(biodieselcontentof5%)orlesserblends
incoldweather.
•Monitorseals,hoses,gasketsincontactwithfuel
astheymaydegradeovertime.
•Thefuelltermayplugupforaperiodafter
convertingtobiodieselblends.
•Contactadistributorformoreinformationon
biodieselblendedfuel.

switch.
