TheDiagnosticACEilluminatestheLEDassociatedwitheachoftheinputswhenthatinputswitchis
closed.
8.Individually,changeeachoftheswitchesfromopentoclosed(i.e.,sitontheseat,engagethetraction
pedal,etc.),andnotethattheappropriateLEDontheDiagnosticACEblinksonandoffwhenthe
correspondingswitchisclosed.Repeatthisforallswitchesthatyoucanchangebyhand.
9.IfaswitchisclosedandtheappropriateLEDdoesnotturnon,checkallwiringandconnectionstothe
switchand/orchecktheswitcheswithanohmmeterormultimeter.Replaceanymalfunctioningswitches
andrepairanymalfunctioningwiring.
Note:TheDiagnosticACEisalsoabletodetectwhichoutputsolenoidsorrelaysareturnedon.Thisisa
quickwaytodetermineifamachinemalfunctioniselectricalorhydraulic.
VerifyingOutputFunction
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,engagetheparkingbrake,shutoffthe
engine,andremovethekey.
2.Removetheaccesspanelfromthesideofthecontrolarm.
3.Locatethewireharnessandconnectorsnearthecontroller.
4.Carefullyunplugtheloop-backconnectorfromtheharnessconnector.
5.ConnecttheDiagnosticACEconnectortotheharnessconnector.
Note:MakesurethatthecorrectoverlaydecalispositionedontheDiagnosticACE.
6.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition,butdonotstartthemachine.
