Twodiodesplugintothemainwireharnessbelowtherightsideframerailnear
thestartersolenoid.Thesediodes(D1andD2)providelogicfortheinterlock
system.Onediodeplugsintotheoptionalrearremotehydraulicskitwireharness
undertheleftrearwheelshroudneartherearremotehydraulicskitrelay.This
diode(D1)providescircuitprotectionformtherearremotehydraulicssolenoid
valvecoil.Thediodescanbeidentiedbytheirblackcoloranddiodesymbol
ontheendofthediodebody.Themaximumcurrentallowedthroughanyof
thediodesis6amps.
TestingtheDiodeAssemblies
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachments,engagethe
parkingbrake,setthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekey
fromtheswitch.
2.Locateandremovethediodefromthewireharness.Checkthediodeand
thediodeholderfordamageorcorrosionandcleanorrepairifnecessary.
3.Useamultimetertocheckforvoltagedropacrossthediodeterminals(diode
testsetting).Contactthemultimeterred(+)leadtodiodeterminalAandthe
black(−)leadtodiodeterminalB.Areadingoflessthan0.7voltsshouldbe
displayedonthemultimeter.

Usethetableprovidedandamultimeter(ohmssetting)tomeasurethe
resistanceacrossthediodeterminals.
