IMPORTANT
Becarefulwhenremovingthebatterycablesandensurethatyoudo
notdamagetheterminalpostsorcableconnectors.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachments,engagethe
parkingbrake,setthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekey
fromtheswitch.
2.Locatebatteryatrearofmachineanddisconnectthenegative(-)cablefrom
thebatteryterminal,thendisconnectthepositive(+)cablefromthebattery
terminal.
3.Removethefastenersandhold-downrodthatsecurethetothebatterytray.
4.Makesurethatthebatteryllercapsaresecure(ifapplicable)andremove
thebatteryfromthebatterytray.
5.Cleanthebatterytray.Neutralizeandrenishanydamagedareasofthe
batterytray.
6.Inspectthebatterycablesandconnectorsfordamageandcorrosion.Clean,
repair,orreplacethebatterycablesandconnectorsifnecessary.
7.Installthebatteryinthereverseorder:
