2. Carefully lift the seats, seat base, and parking
brake cables from the machine ( Figure 41 ).
Important: Note the routing of the
parking-brake cables along the chassis as
you lift the seats and seat base from the
machine.

Replacing the Carbon Canister
1. Remove the vacuum hose from the tting on the
carbon canister marked Purge ( Figure 43 ).

2. Remove the fuel-tank hose from the tting on the
carbon canister marked Fuel T ank ( Figure 43 ).
3. Lift the carbon canister from the carbon-canister
mount in the fuel tank ( Figure 44 ).

4. Remove the carbon-canister lter and the short
section of hose from the lower tting of the old
carbon canister ( Figure 45 ).

6. Insert the tting of a new carbon-canister lter
