Selecting the monaural programmes
If sound distortion, interruptions or silence
arises in the low sound volume level, setting the
e Mono 2 mode will mitigate the problem�
1 When a monaural programme is received, e
Mono appears�
2 Press b to select a monaural mode that
is easy to hear e Mono 1 and e Mono 2
appear cyclically to the screen�
Note:
On some cases, the reception of stereo/bilingual
broadcasts may not be possible after switching
on the e Mono 2 mode.
Adjusting the sound Balance
1 From the SOUND menu, press s or r to
select the Balance
2 Press v or w to adjust the settings as
desired�
Adjusting the Sound Navigation
You can customize the sound mode settings.
Select the appropriate mode in accordance with
the installation location of the TV (Stand or Wall)
and adjust the equalizer on-screen as desired�
1 From the SOUND menu, press s or r to
select Advanced Sound Settings and then
press
2 Press s or r to select Sound Navigation,
and then press
SurroundOff

3 Press v or w to select Stand or Wall
depending on how your TV is installed, and
then press the RED button�
4 Press v or w to select the frequency range
you want to adjust from the equalizer window,
and then press s or r to adjust the level�

Using the Advanced Sound Settings
Surround and
Dynamic Bass Boost
help to
create an enhanced surround sound experience
with deep, rich bass from stereo sound sources�
Your TV’s audio will sound fuller, richer, and
wider
Voice Enhancement helps to emphasize
dialogue� It will be easier to hear voices over
other background audio
1 From the SOUND menu, press s or r to
select Advanced Sound Settings, and then
press
2 Press s or r to select Surround, then press
v or w to select Off, Spatial or Cinema
Voice Enhancement : To turn the vocal
emphasis effect On
or Off
Dynamic Bass Boost
or Ext. Woofer :
To select the desired
bass expansion level
(Off, Low or High)�
Note:
Ext. Woofer is displayed instead of Dynamic
Bass Boost when Woofer is set to External in
the AV Connection menu ( - page 34).
Using the Stable sound
The Stable sound function limits the highest
volume level to prevent extreme changes in
volume when the signal source changes (for
example, to prevent the sudden increase
in volume that often happens when a TV
programme switches to a commercial)�
1 From the SOUND menu, press s or r to
select Stable sound
2 Press v or w to select On or Off
