You can choose to change the PDF Version being produced by e-BRIDGE Re-Rite.
Versions supported are as follows:
PDF Version 1.3
PDF Version 1.4
PDF Version 1.5
PDF Version 1.6
PDF Version 1.7
PDF/A-1a
PDF/A-1b
Compressed PDF support
128 bit encryption was not introduced until PDF version 1.4. Thus, PDF version 1.3 has no
support for 128 bit (high) PDF encryption.
PDF Settings is not applicable to PDF/A.
PDF/A is a file format for long-term archiving of electronic documents. It is based on the
PDF Reference Version 1.4 and is defined by ISO to ensure that the documents can be
reproduced the exact same way in years to come. PDF/A documents are to be 100% self-
contained, therefore encryption is disallowed.
