9. REPLACEMENT OF PC BOARDS/HDD
9.1 Removal and Installation of PC Boards/HDD
Notes:
When the PC board/HDD is replaced, refer to the respective Notes and Cautions of
“Replacement of PC boards and HDD” in P. 9-11 "9.2 Precautions and Procedures for
Replacing PC Boards and HDD/SSD".
9.1.1 SYS Board cover
9.1.2 SYS board
Notes:
• When the SYS board or main memory has been replaced, be sure to perform the calibration
of memory.
• When performing the calibration of memory, press the [ENERGY SAVER] button and turn the
power ON.
• When the equipment is started up normally, the calibration has been completed.
• If the calibration is not performed, the equipment may be not started up normally.
(1) Remove the rear cover.

(2) Remove 2 screws and take off the SYS
board cover [1] by sliding it toward the right
side.

(3) Remove the SYS board cooling fan.

(4) Remove 1 screw [1] from the harness guide
of SYS board.
(5) Release the lock by tilting the flap [2] and
remove the flat cable [3].
