• “Sharpening the copy image” and “Minimizing moiré” are mutually contradictory. When an
adjustment is performed to sharpen the copy image, moiré may occur.

Enter a value within the recommended value range mentioned in the procedures. Otherwise, it may
cause a loss in copier performance, including degradation in the image quality.
