4.3.7 Time setting request
(1) Function
This request sets the time in the DN311. The time thus set is used for event history
data. When the DN311 is in down mode or initialize mode, this function cannot be
used.
(2) Diagrammatic representation (Function block)
(3) Description of operation
(a) When REQ is TRUE, the module specified by CH, UNIT, and SLOT executes the
time setting request.
(b) After completion of time setting request processing, DONE is turned TRUE.
(c) If time setting request processing is not completed in 2 seconds or more due to
an error or the like, ERR and DONE are turned TRUE.
(d) Completion status is output to STATUS.
(e) If REQ is FALSE, both DONE and ERR turn FALSE.
(f) When this function block is started (when REQ is turned TRUE), keep REQ
TRUE till DONE becomes TRUE.

• Enter a numeric value in 2 digits of BCD for each time element.
(5) Others
• The time thus set is updated by the timer in the DN311, and may deviate from the time
of the S controller. It is recommended that the time be adjusted once a day.
