4.3 Requests to the DN311
4
4.3.2 Reset request
(1) Function
This request is used to reset the DN311 from the S controller. Receiving a reset
request, the DN311 initializes the module.
This request also can delete the scan list (parameters of the slave devices connected
to the network) stored in the internal non-volatile memory of the DN311.
In normal operation
When a reset request is executed, the DN311 waits for a parameter setting
request (in standby mode). No response will be made to the S controller when a
reset request is completed normally. To confirm normal completion of the reset
request, check the station status (05D5H) that it changes from initialize mode to
standby mode.
In abnormal state
An error response (completion status) is returned to the S controller when the
request is not accepted.
