Note: In order to ensure the longevity of the air-
craft tug, longer distances should be avoided with
the turntable gate open and with the lifting plat-
form lowered.
Release the safety strap (or safety bar) to prevent possible
damage to the nose wheel or to the aircraft tug.
Make sure there is nothing under the platform. Move the
lifting platform to the lowest position.
Unlock the gate by turning the lock 180°. Use the handles to
open the gate.
The tug can now be carefully driven out. Once the nosewheel
is out of the way, the gate should be closed and the lifting
platform raised immediately to prevent damages to the turn-
table while driving.
5.7 Aircraft release
The unloading of the aircraft is carried out in reverse order to the setting. Before unloading,
make sure that the aircraft is properly secured. To do this, the chocks on the main landing gear
and the aircraft parking brake must be applied.
