QoS
7. 1. Configure Basic Settings
You can enable the QoS function and specify the total upstream and the downstream
bandwidths and enable the marking features.
¾ To enable QoS and configure the basic settings:
1. Visit http://tplinkwifi.net, and log in with the password you set for the router.
2. Go to Advanced > QoS > Basic Settings, and select the Enable check boxes to enable
QoS of Upstream and QoS of Downstream.
3. Enter the maximum upload and download speed bandwidths provided by your
internet service provider in the corresponding Total Bandwidth fields.
4. Select the Enable check box to turn on the corresponding DSCP Mark function or
802.1P Mark function if you want to apply the marking function to the data flows.
5. Click Save to make the settings effective.
7. 2. Configure SP/WRR Settings
You can manage your network by queues and data flows to prioritize bandwidth for the
most critical operations. With SP algorithm, you can assign the priority to the packets
and decide which packets are more important and get through more quickly; with WRR
algorithm, you can allocate the quota of bandwidth to a certain kind of packets.
1. Visit http://tplinkwifi.net, and log in with the password you set for the router.
2. Go to Advanced > QoS > SP/WRR Settings.
