Manual Reset Supply Air
Static Pressure Limit
Problem: The Supply Air static
pressure went too high for the
third consecutive time.
The Auto Reset Supply Air
Static Pressure Limit
diagnostic has occurred for the
3rd time while the unit is
operating in any mode.
A "Supply Air Pressure
Shutdown" signal is sent to
the following functions;
a. Compressor Staging
Control,
b. Economizer Actuator
Control,
c. Heat Operation,
d. Supply Fan/Return Fan
Control,
e. IGV / VFD Control,
f. Exhaust Fan Control
g. Exhaust Actuator Control
(PMR) A manual reset is
required and can be
accomplished at the Human
Interface or by Tracer, or by
cycling the power to the RTM.
MCM Communications
Failure
Problem: The RTM has lost
communications with the
MCM.
Check: Check field/unit wiring
between RTM and MCM.
The RTM has lost
communications with the
MCM.
A “Lockout” request is sent to
the Compressor Staging
Control function. And a fail-
safe function in the MCM will
cause all MCM outputs to be
zeroed and de energized.
(PAR) An automatic reset
occurs after communication
has been restored.
Minimum Outdoor Air Flow
SETPOINT Failure
Problem: The input designated
as the SETPOINT is out of
range.
Check: Wiring to the GBAS
input designated for Minimum
Outdoor Air Flow SETPOINT or
check BAS/Network interface
card status and wiring.
Minimum Outdoor Air Flow
SETPOINT out of range: OA
flow is < 0 or > Max Unit
Airflow
The active Minimum OA Flow
SETPOINT reverts to the
default Minimum OA Flow
SETPOINT.
(PAR) An automatic reset
occurs after the Minimum OA
Flow SETPOINT input returns
to within range for 10
continuous seconds, or after a
different, valid Minimum OA
Flow SETPOINT selection
source is user-defined.
MODE Input Failure
Problem: The RTM Mode input
is out of range.
Check: Mode input resistance
should be between 1 Kohm
and 40 Kohms. If so, check
field/unit wiring between
Sensor and RTM.
The mode input signal on the
RTM is out of range (R < 1k
ohm or R > 40k ohm).
The system mode reverts to
the default (HI set) System
Mode.
(INFO) An automatic reset
occurs after the Mode input
returns to its allowable range
for 10 seconds.
MDM Communications
Failure
Problem: RTM lost
communication to the MDM
module.
Check wiring between the
MDM and RTM. Check for
properly powered MDM board.
The RTM lost communications
to the MDM for 60 seconds.
All active commands and
setpoints provided by the MDM
module will be canceled and/
or ignored. All binary outputs
will be de-energized and
analog output set to fail-safe.
Dehumidification control
function is disabled and a
compressor lockout request is
issued for the Reheat Circuit
(Circuit #1)
(PAR) An automatic reset
occurs after one complete set
of the required IPC packets
has been received.
DIAGNOSTIC DISPLAYED REASON FOR DIAGNOSTIC UCM’S REACTION RESET REQUIRED
