4.12 WATER SYSTEM
A motorhome water system consists of a
fresh, grey and black water system plus a
water heater and plumbing. Be sure to
review, understand and follow all operating
instructions for the system.
4.12.1 WATER HEATER
The water heater is only accessible from
the outside. All water heaters are designed
to operate using LP gas. The system
requires water in the tank before starting to
heat water or the element will burn out.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
1. Do not try to light any appliances.
2. Do not touch any electric switch.
3. Do not use any phone in your building.
4. Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's
phone. Follow the gas supplier's instructions
5. If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire
department.
WARNING
Do not touch the heater canister and burner
exhaust vent. These components are
extremely hot and contact can cause
serious burns.
