MAIN DRIVE BELT
The main drive belt transfers power from the engine
to the Power Rake. It is tensioned by a spring
attached to the idler assembly.
WARNING: Before starting any work:
1. Allow the engine and muffler to cool before
starting work.
2. Remove the spark plug wire from the spark
plug.
3. PlacethethrottlecontroltotheStopposition.
4. Lower the Power Rake to the ground.
CHECK MAIN DRIVE BELT TENSION
1. Allow the engine and muffler, A, to cool before
attemptingtoworkaroundtheengine, maindrive
belt tension level assembly, B, or to remove the
drive main belt shield, C.
