SEAT ROTATION
LEVER
If the truck is equipped with an optional operator’s cab, make
certain that the turning seat is securely locked and its height is
properly adjusted.

MIRROR
Check the sideview mirrors for contamination or damage. Adjust
the mirrors to gain full rearview when you are seated in the
operator’s seat.
Start the engine

SHIFT LEVER
CAUTION
Make sure the shift lever is in neutral and the parking brake
is applied before starting the engine.
SHIFT LEVER
Check the shift lever for looseness and smooth operation.

LOAD HANDLING LEVERS
CAUTION
Note that the forks drop when the lift lever is pushed
forward even if the engine is not running.
