ANNUAL (2400 OPERATING HOURS) CHECKS
Perform the following checks in addition to daily checks, one
month (200 operating hours) checks, 3 months (600 operating
hours) checks and 6 months (1200 operating hours) checks.
Items to be checked
•
Engine – Check valve clearance.
•
Engine – Measure compression pressure.
•
Injection nozzle – Check injection pressure and spray
pattern.
•
Engine – Check injection timing.
•
Feed pump – Clean inlet strainer.
•
Water pump – Change grease.
•
Parking brake – Check for proper operation, wear or damage.
•
Brake uid – Change.
•
Brake air master cylinder and wheel cylinder – Check for
proper operation, oil leaks or damage (Disassembly and
cleaning).
•
Air drier – Change compressed air desiccant.
•
Wheel brake drum and brake shoe – Disassemble, adjust or
replace.
•
Truck body frame and cross members – Check for damage,
cracks or loose rivet or bolt.
