If safety labels on the machine are damaged or missing,
this can cause errors, personal injury and material dam-
age. The safety symbols attached to the machine must
not be removed. Damaged safety symbols must be re-
placed immediately.
As soon as the signs are not clearly visible and compre-
hensible at first glance, the machine must be stopped
until new signs have been attached.

from your specialist dealer or by calling

3 Intended use
The generator is exclusively for use as a power genera-
tor. It can be used universally for 230V and 400V (mo-
dels: PG 500/800 TRA, PG 500/800/1200 X-TEA, PG
800/1200 X-TEA-54, PG-D 600/900/1100 TEA) consu-
mers.
Intended use also includes compliance with all the infor-
mation in these instructions.
3.1 Reasonably foreseeable misuse
Any use beyond the intended use or any other use is
considered misuse.
Possible misuses can be:
- Misuse of the generator.
- Operating the generator without the intended pro-
tective devices in place.
- Bypassing or modifying the protective devices.
- Failure to observe the maintenance instructions.
- Failure to observe signs of wear and damage.
- Service work carried out by untrained or unauthori-
sed personnel.
- Maintenance work on a switched-on unit
- Deliberate or careless handling of the generator
during operation.
- Installation of spare parts and use of accessories
and equipment not approved by the manufacturer.
- Modifications to the generator
- Operating the generator if the operating instructi-
ons have not been fully read and understood.
Misuse of the power generator can lead to dangerous si-
tuations.
Stürmer Maschinen GmbH accepts no liability for construc-
tive and technical modifications to the power generator.
Claims of any kind for damage due to improper use are
excluded.
3.2 Residual risks
Even if all safety instructions are observed and generator
is used according to the instructions, there are still resi-
dual risks, which are listed below:
- Hearing damage during prolonged work on the unit
with defective hearing protection.
- Danger from inhalation of exhaust fumes
- Heat build-up on components can cause burns and
other injuries.
