BASE INSTALLATION WITH VEHICLE SEAT BELT
Safety Check
Lock-o must be used at all times when installing with a vehicle seat belt.
Vehicle Belt is secure and untwisted.
Base doesn’t more than 1" side-to-side and front-to-back at the belt path.
Ensure tightness indicator is GREEN after each use. If it is not, reinstall base.
Recline angle is correct. Check the level angle indicator on base to ensure the
bubble is still within the lines. NO partial bubble allowed.
Make sure the load leg is secured and contacts the vehicle floor.
Check that the load leg angle indicator is GREEN. Any RED showing
indicates that the load leg is not properly level with the vehicle floor.
Always store the load leg under base when not in use.
ALL STEPS MUST BE COMPLETE.
If not, return to pg 32 and start over.
