GENERAL USE – SIP Carriage + Harness Positioning
This child restraint has an adjustable head restraint and no-rethread harness system
that is easy to adjust to properly secure the child.
1 Adjust the head restraint by gripping the top
of the carriage and sliding it up or down.
2 The headrest should be positioned at the
child’s shoulders to ensure proper fit of the
harness. The headrest can lightly touch the
shoulders and allow at most 1” of space
between child’s shoulders and headrest.
GENERAL USE – Securing Your Child
1 Loosen the harness by pressing on the harness adjuster release
button and pulling out the shoulder straps toward the front
of the carrier.
2 Open the retainer clip, unbuckle the harness, and tuck harness
straps into belt guides to hold harness open.
3 Place infant in child restraint making sure their body is making
full contact with the seating surface. Place harness over child
and insert buckle tongues into the buckle until a “click” is
heard. Pull up on the buckle tongues to make sure they are
locked.
WARNING! DO NOT place rolled towel or small blanket around head
or SIP carriage. NEVER use non-regulated products with this child restraint,
unless approved by UPPAbaby.
