10.3. Equipment settings
Within UV Soft, dierent equipment can be added, edited and the use log can be viewed.
Edit equipment
Navigate to the Equipment-tab. and click “Edit”. Click “Cancel” to abort the editing process. Edit the credentials as desired
and click “Save” to save the newly edited credentials.
ID number
Equipment name
Equipment description
Leak test necessary
Rinsing and drying
necessary
The barcode/RFID number of the piece of equipment
The RFID ID of the piece of equipment
The name of the piece of equipment. For example: “Endoscope 001 - Wing Y”
The description of the piece of equipment. For example: Black Brand X Endoscope, short
insertion tube
Certain equipment requires to be leak tested before disinfection. Tick this box when the
equipment requires leak testing
Certain equipment is exposed to cleaning solutions before disinfection. Tick this box when the
equipment is exposed to cleaning solutions before it is disinfected
Add equipment
Navigate to the Equipment-table. Click “Add” and enter the following credentials:
Next to the credentials two checkboxes are listed, indicating the equipment’s disinfection requirements:
Delete a piece of equipment
Beware: this step is irreversible. Navigate to the Equipment-tab. Select the equipment in the list you wish to delete and
click “Delete”.
Note: This is only possible with equipment that does not contain logs.
Equipment Log
Navigate to the Equipment-tab. Click “Equipment log” to see the equipment log.
