Luminance Sensor
The following numbers refer to Figure 6 above:
1 = Cast aluminum housings
2 = Electronics board
3 = Optics module
4 = Integrated hood
5 = Connection cable
The optics module including the lens is heated by a power
resistor. This dew heater is turned on when the temperature
inside LM21 drops below 10 °C. The window is heated by a
separate window heater. The window heater consists of a
power resistor and a high power heater foil. The power
resistor is located inside the unit enclosure mounted below
the window. The heater foil is located on an area of the hood
