4. If LM21 detects the calibrator when the calibrator
connector has been connected, the green ON LED
starts to flash.
5. The white LED light is switched off and on. When the
successive dark and bright signals are detected by
LM21 it is assumed that the calibrator is correctly
installed under the hood. During this procedure the
green ON LED is flashing.
6. If the successive dark and bright conditions cannot be
detected by LM21, the red FAIL LED is lit. Try to
repeat the calibration procedure. If the FAIL LED is
still lit, contact Vaisala or its nearest representative.
7. When the installation check procedure has been
successfully completed, the green ON LED is
continuously lit and the yellow CHECK LED starts to
flash indicating that current calibration coefficients are
being checked. This means that the brightness of the
calibrator light is being measured by LM21 and the
measurement results are compared against coefficients
in the calibrator memory.
8. If LM21 cannot read the coefficients from the
calibrator memory, the red FAIL LED is lit. Try to
repeat the calibration procedure. If the FAIL LED is
still lit, contact Vaisala or its nearest representative.
