The field calibration procedure is performed in the
following way:
1. Place the calibrator tightly against the LM21 window
under the LM21 hood (see Figure 7 below). No
ambient light should leak into the LM21 window.

2. Open the protective cover and connect the calibrator
cable to the calibrator connector of LM21 (see Figure 8
below).
