9. If step 7 was successfully completed and the
calibration factors do not need to be modified, the
green DONE LED is switched on and the CHECK
LED is continuously lit. If the calibration factors need
adjustment, the CHECK LED is continuously lit and
the yellow CAL LED starts to flash for a moment to
indicate that the new calibration factors are being
stored into the non-volatile memory.
10. If the new calibration factors were stored successfully,
the CHECK LED is switched off, the CAL LED is
continuously lit and the green DONE LED is switched
on.
11. If the calibration fails, the CAL LED is flashing, the
red FAIL LED is switched on, and the original factors
are restored to the LM21 non-volatile memory. A
notice is written into the error log of LM21. Check that
LMA21 is installed tightly against the LM21 window
and no light is leaking into the LM21 window. Repeat
the calibration procedure. If the FAIL LED is still lit,
contact Vaisala or its nearest representative.
12. Disconnect the LMA21 field calibrator and store it in
the case of the FSA11 Visibility Calibrator Kit.
NOTE
When the calibrator is installed, the LM21 sensor is in an
Alarm (Calibrating) status.
