10.3 Setting the jumpers for OSDP mode
For more information on setting the jumpers in a VR20 or VR 50 Mullion reader, see Setting the
Jumpers on page20.
For ACT systems it is possible to select Jumper 2 in the OFF position in OSDP mode,
which is automatically selecting the address depending on the number of readers
added to the system. Therefore, it is not necessary to select a specific OSDP address
for each reader via the Jumper setting.
10.3.1 Setting the OSDP address for the reader
In the OSDP reader section of the ACTPro Software use the auto-discovery function to find the
readers.
During installation:
l Record the 7 digit serial number.
l Record the door name.
l Record if a reader is an entry or exit reader.
