ISTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE AND MAINTENANCE - JB / JD
ANNEX 1
JD MONOBLOC
Servicing required by the JD MONOBLOC series bearings
• thepumpissuppliedwithtwo2RS1bearingsshieldedonbothsidesandwithasufficientamountofgreaseforaslongasitlasts.
How to replace the bearings:
- empty the pump casing as shown in paragraph 7
Attention: residual liquid may be found in the pump casing, head and suction line. Take the necessary precautions if the liquid is hazardous
(inflammable, corrosive, poisonous, infected).
- remove the screws and washers (04.2, 04.3) from the bell mouth (04)
- remove the pumping unit, inclusive of impeller (03), plate (02.1), motor support (19) and shaft (07)
- remove the impeller (03) and seal (25)
- unscrew the screws (55) so as to remove the bearing cover (08)
- take out the shaft (07), complete with bearings (58 - 59), from the side with the bell mouth (04)
- remove the ring nut (63) and the bearings (58 - 59) with the aid of a puller or press.
- work through the instructions in reverse order to re-assemble the parts.
