6.1.1 Video Output
Resolution
The DTT frequency in Hong Kong is 50Hz and is recommended as the
default setting. However, some TV sets (maybe imported from Japan or the
United States) cannot support 50Hz broadcast. 50Hz broadcast frequency is
widely used among HongKong.We recommend user to set its frequency at
50 Hz. Some Television do not work at its best at 50 Hz (Imported Television
from Japan or North America). Under this circumstance, it is advised to
adjust the frequency to 60 Hz
S-Video and Composite Video Output only support Standard Definition
Output. Please select 576i50Hz, 576p50Hz, 720p50Hz, 720p60Hz,
1080i50Hz and 1080i60Hz mode if you are using either one of these
Outputs.
Component Video Output only supports Recording format up to 1080i. It is
recommended to select 1080i_60Hz.
HDMI Output format is least with 480p or 576p. It is recommend to choose
1080p_50Hz or 1080p_60 Hz
Color Space
HD Component format includes RGB and YPbPr Outputs. If the TV is
working with Component Video In, it is recommended to select YPbPr as the
format.
Brightness
Adjust the brightness according to your preference.
Contrast
Adjust the contrast according to your preference.
