Each line should be positioned as shown in the sketch below.
Winch setup
The two snatch blocks on either end do need to guide the line in order to heave in and out smoothly. To avoid sway
in case the robot loose contact with the steel surface, the working area should be kept within the two snatch blocks
(within the green marked area) and the fall arrestor should be positioned as close as possible above the robot.
The pulling strength of the 2 winches is approximately 120 Kg each winch.
The UHP hose and umbilical should be tied together and lifted simultaneously using the winch system.
All connections:
To and from snatch blocks;
From UHP hose to winch system;
From fall arrestor to winch system;
Etc.
Should be made with certified slings/ strops!!!
