Lift the machine well clear of the ground.
Tighten the tractor's stabiliser chains.
Because of the increase in weight, it is recommended that the tractor's
left-hand stabiliser chain is tightened up more than usual, so that the
machine is pulled as tight as possible to the tractor.
Attach the PTO shaft to the tractor.
When checking and shortening the PTO shaft, refer to the manufac-
turer's instructions, delivered with the PTO shaft.
Set/adjust the length of the top link, as shown.
• The setting shown will produce a stubble height of approximately
50 mm (2").
The stubble height should be fine tuned in the field.
