Machine in
transport position
Check the surrounding area before starting to use machine
Before driving and using the machine the surrounding area should be
checked.
This prevents persons and animals in the vicinity from being harmed.
If the surrounding area is not checked, it may result in serious injuries
to persons or animals.
Connecting the tractor's PTO outlet
The tractor's PTO outlet must be disconnected when the machine is
raised to the transport position.
The universal joints on the machine's PTO shafts are forced out to
beyond their maximum working angle.
This can cause extensive damage to the machine's main gear and the
PTO shaft.
When transporting the machine, take note of its overall height
The overall height of the machine cannot exceed 4 metres on public
roads.
This ensures that the machine can pass under bridges and suspended
electricity cables.
If this overall height is exceeded, it can cause both serious damage to
the machine and serious injury to the driver of the tractor.
It is recommended that the machine's right-hand guard is opened
during transport on public roads, as the overall height of the vehicle
must not exceed 4 metres.
Pull and release the lock.
Open the right-hand guard and turn it swivel it fully over as shown
until the guard is secured with the lock.
