Storage
When the season is over, the machine should be readied for winter
storage. Carry out the following:
• Clean the machine thoroughly.

• Change the transmission oil.
»Lubricants« page 109
• The hydraulic quick coupling should either be covered with a dust
cap or placed in a small plastic bag.
• The PTO shaft should be cleaned, oiled and stored somewhere dry
so as to prevent damage or corrosion.
• Always check that the machine's safety equipment is not worn or
damaged.
• Bleed as much excess hydraulic pressure from the cylinders,
accumulator and hoses as possible.
• Place the machine in a ventilated machine room.
Safety
The machine shall be secured when parked
The machine must be correctly secured when parked in storage.
Properly secured machines prevent serious accidents.
If the machine is not properly secured when parked it can result in
serious injuries and death.
Park the machine in the working position
The machine should always be parked in the working position.
This prevents the machine from tipping over and causing serious
accidents.
If the machine tips over, serious or even fatal injuries may result.
Therefore, when disconnecting make sure that:
• The parking catch is engaged and locked.
• The machine is in the work position.
• All of the machine's parking stands are in the correct position.
• The machine is placed upon a horizontal and level surface.
• The tractor cannot roll after being disconnected.
• the tractor has stopped, the parking brake is active and the ignition
key is removed.
• Children must never be allowed to play close to the machine.
