Switching on and off
System shutdown
If you intend shutting down your heat pump for a certain
time, e.g. during a summer holiday, set the operating
mode selector to "Off" (see "Selecting operating modes"
on page7).
Switch off your heat pump, if it will not be needed for
longer periods of time (several months).
We recommend that, before taking the heat pump out of
operation for longer periods, you get in touch with your
local specialist. Where necessary, this contractor can take
certain measures, e.g. protecting the system against frost.
1. Switch on the system On/Off
switch next to the control unit.
As the system is now isolated, the
heating system has no frost
protection, and the pumps will not
be switched on to protect them
against seizing up.
2. Isolate the mains voltage, e.g. by
removing a separate fuse or by
means of a mains electrical
isolator.
All control unit settings remain
active.
