6.6 Google Play Compatibility setting
The Google Play store includes
an automatic lter that prevents
certain apps from being installed
on devices that do not include a
portrait or pivot option. This is to
prevent the side affect of seeing
your apps rotated 90 degrees on
non-rotatable devices such as
the VSD220.
We have included a Google Play Compatibility setting to allow for greater
access to apps which have been previously ltered. The default setting of
Google Play Compatibility is set at “Low”, and changing this setting to “High”
will disable the Google Play portrait mode lter. Please note that certain apps
which do not support landscape mode may appear rotated on the VSD220.
NOTE
The Google Play store includes
additional lter for functions such
as GPS, etc … In order to gain
complete access to every
available app, you may also
consider visiting the Amazon App
Store or 1Mobile App site, as
there are no lters at these
locations.
