3.3Random Playback
*Itis possibletoplaybackallthesongs onadisk, orallthe songsincludedin a
chain,inrandomorder.
1)PressRND(therelativeLEDwilllightup),thenPLAY.
Randomplaybackofthesongson thedisk willbegin andcan beinterrupted by
pressingSTOP.
2) Actuate the PROG function (LED will light up) then follow procedure 1).
Randomplaybackoftheprogrammedsongs willbeginand canbeinterrupted
bypressingSTOP.
3.1Creating a CHAIN
PROGRAMMING
* The RD-70 can be programmed to automatically playback a series of songs
intheorderselectedbytheuser(CHAIN).
Theprocedureisdescribedbelow:
1) While holding ENTER, press the PROG button (the relative LED will start
flashing).
2)PresstheSONG<or>buttonstosetthenumberofthesongthatyouwant
toinclude.
3)ConfirmwithENTER.
4)Repeatpoints2)and3)foreachsongthat youwanttoprograminsequence
(maxpossiblenumberis99).
5) At the end of selection, press STOP (the PROG LED will remain on,
indicatingthattheprogramminghasbeenstoredinthememory).
6)PressPLAYtostartchainplayback.Thechaincanbestoppedatanytimeby
pressingSTOPorPAUSE.
* The chain programmingremainsstoredinthe memory even when the unit is
turnedoff.
Assubsequentprogrammingswillbeaddedontopreviousones,itisadvisable
to delete any chain already existing in the memory before programming
another.
Check the PROG LED in order to see whether the memory is free - the LED
shouldnotbeilluminated.
IftheLEDison,whileholdingERASEpressPROGtoclear.
N.B. The chain will not be able to work if a floppy disk other than the one
containingthesongsprogrammedinthechainisinsertedinthedrive.
If the chain is called up with the PROG button during normal playback of a
song,thechainwillbeginaftertheendofthesong.
