maximumsizeofthemessagesisabout890Kbytes
* The messages, which will contain set-up data for the devices connected,
canbe storedbythe RD-70andassignedtotheSONG <and>andTEMPO<
and>buttons.
* We will consequently have four exclusive message strings at our disposal,
which can be accessed at any time and easily transmitted to the connected
machines
*Proceedasfollows:
1) Send the string of datatobe storedto the MIDI-IN connector of the RD-70,
recordingitasthoughitwereanormalsong.
2)Selectthesongthathasjustbeenrecordedwiththesong<and>buttons
3)WhileholdingSTOP,pressENTERandoneoftheTEMPOorSONG buttons(
wherethestringistobestored).Thedisplayask'Sur'("Areyousure?").
4)PressRECtoconfirm.
*Ifthe message"PFL"appearswhenyoutrytoconfirm,it meansthatyouare
tryingtostoretoomuchdata.
Reducethequantity andrepeattheoprations.
*Storeddatacanbetransmittedasfollows:
1) In stop status, hold the STOP button and press the button where the
exclusive system data that you want to transmit has been saved ( the display
ask'Sur',"Areyousure?")
2)PressRECtoconfirmorSTOPtocanceloperation.
*If the'NPC'("NoPaCket" )erroris displayed,itmeans thatnodatahasbeen
assignedtothatbutton
*Itisalsopossible toautomaticallytransmitaMidi Packet everytimethatthe
machineisturnedon
1)Instopstatus,holdtheENTERbuttonandpressREW.
2)UsetheREWandFFbuttonstoselect thestoragelocationwheretheRD-70
mustsearchforthedatatobetransmittedconsideringthat:
SONG<islocationPc1
SONG>islocationPc2
TEMPO<islocationPc3
TEMPO>islocationPc4
OFF=automatictransmissionfunctiondisabled
3) Press ENTER to confirm the function that is to be automatically performed
thenexttimethattheRD-70isturnedon.
* To clear one of the four exclusive system strings from the device's memory,
proceedasfollows:
1)In stopstatus, while holding STOP and ERASE,pressthebuttonwhere the
stringtobedeletedisstored
2) The display ask "Sur", "Are you sure?". Press REC to confirm or stop to
cancel.
