Intercom Calls
To place an Intercom Call:
1. Press the DSS button of the party to be called (if programmed at
your phone),
-or-
Dial the extension number.
(You will hear ringing if the called station is in the T mode; or three
bursts of tone if called station is in H or P modes.)
2. Lift the handset or use the speakerphone after the tone bursts stop.
3. Hang up to end the call.
To answer an Intercom Call:
In the T mode (LED On), you will hear repeated bursts of intercom tone
ringing and the HOLD button slow flashes.
Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF button (SPEAKER button on IP
Phone) to answer,
-or-
Press the H-T-P button to the H mode to reply.
In the P mode (LED flashes), you will hear three bursts of tone and one-
way announcement. The calling party cannot hear conversations in
progress.
Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF button (SPEAKER button on IP
Phone) to answer,
-or-
Press the H-T-P button to the H mode to reply.
In the H mode (No LED), you will hear three bursts of tone and an
announcement.
Reply handsfree or lift the handset for privacy.
Dialing a number in the numbering plan activates the
telephone automatically.
