MAX/MIN function
This function keeps the maximum and minimum values on the display. The automatic range selection
is deactivated.
- Press the button “MAX/MIN” (11) once in measuring mode. The display shows “MAX” and indicates
the highest value.
- If you press the button “MAX/MIN” again, you switch to “MIN”. The lowest value is saved.
- With each further press of the button “MAX/MIN”, the display “MAX MIN” blinks and the current mea-
suring value is displayed. However, the MIN/MAX memory continues to run in the background.
- Each brief press switches the display.
- To quit the function, keep the button “MAX/MIN” depressed for approx. 1 second until the displays
“MAX”, “MIN” or “MAX MIN” disappear with a beep.
REL Function
The REL function allows a reference value measurement to avoid possible line losses which may cau-
sed e.g. during resistance measurements. The “REL” function is also perfectly suited for reference
measuring and displaying component deviations. For this purpose, the current indicated value is set to
zero. A new reference value is set.
- Press the “REL” button to activate this measuring function. “REL” appears on the display. The auto-
matic measuring range selection is deactivated now.
- Another press switches the difference display which is deducted from the current measuring value. Now
the symbol “REL” blinks on the display. Each renewed press switches between the two displays.
- To turn this function off, keep the button “REL” depressed for 1 second or change the measuring fun-
ction.
Auto power OFF function
The DMM turns off automatically after 15 minutes with several beeps if no button or switch is operated.
This function saves battery power and extends the service life.
To reactivate the DMM after automatic cut-off, move the rotary switch or press any function key (except
for the diode button (4) and the light button (10)).

ou can turn the auto power-off function manually.
To do so, turn the measuring device off (OFF). Keep the button “RANGE” (2) depressed and turn the
DMM on at the rotary switch. The clock symbol on the display disappears. This function remains inac-
tive until the measuring device is turned off via the rotary switch.
