WARNING!
Batteries contain corrosive acid. Handle batteries according to
instructions in Section 3 and Section Safety.

Removing
1 Place the machine in service position 1, see
191, Service
positions
.
2 Open the battery covers.
3 Remove the terminal caps.
4 Loosen and remove the cable terminals from the battery ter‐
minals.
NOTE! Start by removing the cable terminal from the minus
terminal.
5 Loosen the clamp and remove the battery.
Weight approx. 20 kg (44 lbs).
