Fault Possible cause and rectication
The electric brush is not vacuuming
properly.
The suction duct of the electric brush may be blocked.
• Open the inspection ap
on the underside of the
electric brush.
• Remove the blockage.
• If necessary, use an appropriate object to do this (e.g.
screwdriver, crochet needle).
• Put the inspection ap
back on.
The Kobold electric brush switches
itself o and the LEDs ash red.
A vacuumed object may be blocking the brushes of the
electric brush.
• Switch o the cordless vacuum cleaner.
• Disconnect the electric brush from the cordless
vacuum cleaner.
• Remove the object.
Threads may be blocking the brushes of the electric brush.
• Cut the threads and remove them as described in chap-
ter “Roller brushes” on page 36.
The carpet may be too dense.
• Briey li up the electric brush from the carpet and
place it down on a hard oor.
• Change to ‘Brush o’ mode on the electric brush as de-
scribed in chapter “Setting the brush mode” on
page 22 and move onto the carpet that is to be
cleaned.
• Alternatively, switch the cordless vacuum cleaner to the
‘so’ setting and continue vacuuming the carpet.
