5 Installation
Before you can start the device up you need to connect it to the vehicle. There are numerous WABCO
diagnostic cables available for this. Diff erent ports can be used to connect the device to the vehicle.
Please use the manufacturer specifi cations for guidance, or fi nd out more at

PC.
5.1 Connecting the ABS/EBS Code Reader
1. Select the correct diagnostic cable.
2. Connect the cable to the vehicle interface.
3. Attach the ABS/EBS Code Reader to the diagnostic cable.
4. Switch on the ignition to ensure a power supply.
The device is automatically supplied with voltage from the vehicle and switches itself on.
After switching on, the device briefl y displays the installed version, before switching to the main
menu.
